AR-15 Build Empty AR-15 Build

I am on a mission to build me a long range AR-15. I will be buying parts as I can and I want to build it piece by piece. I know a little bit more than the average person about the AR since I was in the Military so I figured that I would take it further.

I have a SOG Lower receiver that I will be building on. I will be building the Lower receiver 1st since it is the cheaper of the 2.
I will keep you updated as I go so that you can follow me through my build. However this might take a long time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
