Well guys I got me a Kimber!
Yesterday I trades up 2 guns for a 10 year old safequeen, I am now the proud owner of a per Series II Gold Match with a high polish blue! don't worry pics and a range report will be availible this weekend, but DAMN this gun is in MINT condition
Re: Well guys I got me a Kimber!
Congratulations...Wow Kimber!!!
I have wanted a Kimber for a while but I have been un employed for 11 Months Now so the wallet is very thin.
I have owned many firearms in my life as I started buying them when I was 18. Unfortunately I had to get rid of a lot of them due to money issues. I got out of the gun world for a while and now that I am back in it I hate myself for selling my guns. I guess that is just how life is. You live and learn. I am down to 5 guns now. 2 Pistols, 2 Shotguns, and a .22 Rifle.
I am shopping around now for a 3inch .45 1911 and an AR15. (Interesting Fact…AR does not stand for Assault Rifle. It stands for the company that invented it. Armalite Rifles. Which sold the patent to Colt) I want the AR so that I can trick it out and for something to play with. The 1911 will be for every day carry when I go back to work. But I am going to trick it out as well.
Happy shooting with your new Kimber and just out of curiosity what did you trade for it? Not Your Smith!!!

Smith and Wesson 1911
After meeting you on here I went and looked at the S&W 1911's and they are super nice. I used to have a S&W 380 Sigma when they 1st came out but the 2nd round that I fired Jammed and on and on and on. I wish I knew what I know about guns now cause I would have fixed that li'l 13 ounce piece of plastic and it would be a great pocket gun now.

Those had a really bad rep, but the 1911's have a MASSIVE following and a lot of PD SWAT teams are using the HELL out of them
